Of course! We at TOD have our very own Children Centre where we do fun activities and learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level. We have our wonderful Pastor Catherine leading this team of dedicated and loving teachers and we ask that you check your kids into our kids’ area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group. If you’d feel more comfortable having your kids attend service with you, however, this is also acceptable.
If you have older kids from ages 12 to 18 they are welcomed to join our Youth Alive service that runs concurrently with our main service!
Each service is typically 90 minutes and has a time of worship, Bible based preaching, announcements, and offering, but not always in that order!
Most of us wear casual clothes at our services, although some of us dress up. We’d like to think you will be as comfortable in a T-shirt and jeans as you would be in a business suit.

WHO IS JESUS?
“Who is Jesus?” is a perennial question asked by Man through the ages. Jesus Himself asked, “But who do you say that I am?”, a question that every individual would have to answer. Jesus was conceived in Mary, a virgin, by the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:31, 35). As such, He is God who took on human form – He is fully God and fully man. He defined His mission on earth and that is, to seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10). Who are the lost? Everyone who are separated from God because of sin. This was His primary mission on earth. Healing the sick, working miracles, casting out demons, raising the dead, and teaching about the kingdom of God were just some of the things He did to support His mission.
To complete His mission, Jesus submitted Himself to be tortured and eventually crucified on the cross. Dying on the cross, He said, “It is finished!” and gave up His spirit (John 19:30). He completed His mission for the lost. He gave His life for the remission of their sins. And, that is the meaning of His name in Hebrew, Jesus (Yeshua) – “God is salvation” for He shall save His people from their sins (Matt 1:14). Now, whoever calls on the name of the Lord, Jesus, shall be saved (Acts 2:21).
Jesus not only lived and died but He rose from the dead on the third day. After His resurrection, He was seen by more than 500 people on different occasions. He is alive! And He promised that He will return again for those who believe in Him. Acts 1:11, “…This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
